History of Buffalo Storm

The Buffalo Storm AAU club was started in 1999 to provide an opportunity for individuals to “Get Better’ at basketball by competing in AAU tournaments throughout the northeastern US.  By 2003 interest had grown and the Storm had three teams competing in AAU tournaments.  Last year seven teams competed in six different age groups.  In 2006 we will begin to include two to three girls teams in our clubs.

Mission Statement of Buffalo Storm

In an effort to accomplish these goals, our focus in basketball is to teach the individual the mental and physical skills required to succeed at the game of basketball.  Our practices are focused on drills designed to enable the player to “Get Better” and to help them learn how to react in different situations.  We monitor grades and any disruptive behavior at any will result in immediate dismissal from the team.

We also provide tips each month on a specific part of the game and hold clinics that are available to members of the Buffalo Storm at a discounted rate.
